Norman, OK (SportsNetwork. Penny Hardaway Jersey .com) - The 18th-ranked Oklahoma Sooners will close out their non-conference schedule on Wednesday evening, as they play host to the George Mason Patriots at the Lloyd Noble Center. Lon Krugers Sooners come into this contest with wins in four of the last five games, with the lone loss coming against nationally-ranked Washington (69-67) on Dec. 20. OU was able to get some distance from the setback with an 85-51 rout of Weber State just two days later. A poor start to the season had George Mason buried at 2-6, but the Patriots have fought their way back to almost .500 with their current three-game win streak. The Patriots were last in action on Dec. 23, earning a 68-60 win at Wright State. Oklahoma won the only previous matchup with George Mason, an 81-66 decision in Washington, D.C. last season as part of the BB&T Classic. The Raiders came into their matchup with the Patriots red-hot, sporting a flawless home record and a four-game win streak overall. However, George Mason ended both streaks and picked up its first road win of the season in the process. The Patriots were paced by junior center Shevon Thompson and freshman guard Isaiah Jackson. Thompson knocked down 9-of-11 shots from the field and recorded a double-double with 24 points and 14 rebounds. Jackson was 7-of-11 from the floor and 6-of-7 from the free-throw line, finishing with a career- high 22 points. Marko Gujanicic chipped in 11 points off the bench for George Mason, which shot a sterling .520 from the floor in the contest. The Patriots are on a roll right now and are coming off a highly efficient performance last time out. On the season, the numbers have been much more modest, as the team is averaging 68.8 ppg on .434 shooting. Patrick Holloway currently leads the team in scoring at 12.8 ppg. Thompson has been a force in the middle, averaging 12.7 points and 11.3 rebounds per game. Marquise Moore rounds out the top scoring options on the team with 10.9 ppg. Jacksons offensive eruption of late has not been the norm (6.3 ppg) and could really bolster this team over the second half of the season. Oklahoma dominated on both ends of the court in its lopsided victory over Weber State last time out. The Sooners jumped all over the Wildcats, shooting a scorching .688 from the floor in the first half and taking a 51-12 lead into halftime, effectively putting the game out of reach. OU really abused Weber State inside, outscoring its foe 54-8 in the paint. Five Sooners finished with double-digit point totals in the win, led by Ryan Spangler and Jordan Woodard with 15 points apiece. TaShawn Thomas added 13 points, while Buddy Hield and Dinjiyi Walker chipped in with 10 each. Oklahoma is a dangerous team, especially on the offensive end, where the Sooners are averaging 75.2 ppg, on a healthy .452 shooting. Scoring depth comes as four of the teams five starters are sporting double-digit scoring averages. Hield tops the team with his 15.5 ppg. Isaiah Cousins ranks second on the team with 13.2 ppg, followed by Thomas and Spangler, who net 10.9 and 10.5 ppg, respectively. Spangler, a 6-8 forward has been extremely efficient, shooting at a .618 clip, while also leading the team in rebounding (8.8 rpg). Marquese Chriss Jersey . Team officials did not indicate the extent of the injury Saturday, simply listing Rose with "left knee soreness." Rose has played two preseason games without any sign of problems. The first NBA game in South America now will be missing its biggest star. Devin Booker Jersey . - The Seattle Seahawks have signed nine players to 2014 future contracts, including quarterback B. . The Blueshirts hope to stay alive once again when they host the Pittsburgh Penguins in Sundays Game 6 battle at Madison Square Garden. The Chicago Blackhawks hope to avoid posting their longest losing streak in nearly two years on Sunday night as they begin a homestand against the Edmonton Oilers. The Blackhawks have matched a season high with three straight losses, going 0-1-2 since a win at New Jersey on Jan. 3. They did earn a point in last nights setback, falling 2-1 in overtime to the hosting Montreal Canadiens. Marian Hossa had a goal and Corey Crawford made 36 saves, giving up the game- winner at 1:28 of overtime. Crawford had come up with a couple of big saves early in the bonus frame, but could not handle Andrei Markovs blast from the left point that found room inside the far post. "There were stretches when we were getting favorable bounces," noted Chicago head coach Joel Quenneville. "We were playing the right way, but it just seems the last few games that we played loose and with little support on puck pressure." Chicago, set to play its next four at home, is looking to avoid its longest losing streak since a nine-game slide from Jan. 21-Feb. 14, 2012. It is unknown if Quenneville will turn to Crawford again tonight in an effort to get the netminder his first win since Nov. 29, or go with rookie backup Antti Raanta. Limited to just three games in December due to injury, Crawford is 0-3-3 in his last seven starts and has gone 4-5-0 with a 2.96 goals against average in 11 career games (7 starts) versus the Oilers. Phoenix Suns Jerseys. The rookie Raanta has never faced Edmonton and has gone 11-1-3 with a 2.27 GAA in 16 games (14 starts) on the season. Chicago has beaten Edmonton twice already this season -- once at home and once on the road -- and has taken three straight and seven of the last 11 meetings. The Blackhawks won a 5-4 home decision over the Oilers on Nov. 10. Edmonton begins a four-game road trip tonight having won just twice in its last seven games. However, the Oilers most recent victory was a big one as they bested the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3 in overtime on Friday. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored twice and had an assist, netting the winner 61 seconds into overtime. He one-timed a feed from Jordan Eberle to the right of the net on a power play for his 13th goal of the season. "A really nice pass from Eberle, backdoor and he left me with a lot of net to work with," Nugent-Hopkins said. Taylor Hall scored and defenseman Anton Belov netted his first career NHL goal and sixth career point, while Devan Dubnyk made 25 saves. Edmonton could start Ilya Bryzgalov tonight and he is 8-6-4 with a 2.55 GAA in 20 career games versus the Blackhawks, all but two of those starts. His Oilers debut came in relief at home on Nov. 25 versus Chicago and he stopped 12 of 13 shots faced in the clubs 5-1 setback.
